Biography
Born in Isabela, Philippines, on September 20, 1983, Asia Agcaoili always wanted
to be a model and actress. Her first television appearance was a reality show
in which she received breast implants. Afterward, an offer came from GMA Networks
to do an episode of the reality show “Extra Challenge,” where she
successfully faced off with martinets who spoke out against her openness about
sex and sexuality.
Career
After “Extra Challenge,” Agcaoili became continued to appear on television
and films.Her viewpoints regarding sexuality has earned her a reputation for
being a liberated woman, but she has also received her share of criticism for
it as well.
One of the second cast of the Viva Hotbabes, she released three albums with
the group, one of which sold platinum. She has also appeared on television shows,
including a role in “Till Death Do Us Part,” an ABS-CBN drama. In
that role, she proved herself as talented on the screen as in the recording
studio, adding much of her own personal flair to her part.
Her advice column on FHM Philippines, called “Sex Confidential,”
she offers her blunt take on questions that her readers and fans send her. Her
advice is always clear and relevant, and her fans love her for it.
Asia Agcaoiliwas honored as a contestant in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in
the World contest in 2004 and 2005, moving from 89th place to 13th in one year.
Soon after, she starred in the “Sex Guru” video, which is an instructional
video on intimacy and relations. She also beat Janet Jackson to the wardrobe
malfunction punch; in 2003 she was censored for exposing her left breast accidentally
during a variety show.
Despite her busy television schedule and advice column work, fans can catch
