Michelle Madrigal

At
only 20 years of age, Michelle Madrigal is making her mark in the modeling industry,
already having posed for an issue of Maxim Magazine. With a mother (Karla Kahlua)
and sister (Erah Madrigal ) in television and show business, it seems like the
talent runs in the family.

Biography

Born November 4, 1986, Michelle Madrigal has many talents on stage, and enjoys
dancing and singing as well as acting. Her parents divorced when she was a young
child, and she and her sisters lived with her father for much of the time while
her mother worked in various parts of the world. The girls moved in with their
mother when she returned, and now it seems they will be following in her footsteps
on the screen. Erah has already started her collection of television credits.

Career

Although she says one of her most memorable experiences was when she made her
first commercial, Madrigal has an extensive collection of other acting experience
behind her. In 2004 she made her debut in “Star Circle Quest,” a reality
show talent search of the ABS-CBN Philippine entertainment network. That same
year she was also in the television show “SCQ Reload Ok Ako!” This
television drama was designed to showcase the talents of the finalists of the
“Star Circle Quest.” Some critics pan the show as a reality television
knock-off, but it has advanced the careers of many budding young actors and
actresses, Madrigal being one of them.

Since then Madrigal has expanded her repertoire to include other dramas, romances,
thrillers and horror, as well as comedies. From “Spirits” in 2004
to the comedy “Mano po 5: Gua ai di (I love you),” Michelle is proving
her versatility and willingness to take on many different roles, and has suggested
that she would act in a movie, perhaps a romantic comedy.

She has had some guidance from a boyfriend, Victor Neri. Neri, also an actor,
is helping her groom her image on and off the stage. Neri encourages Madrigal
to save money and be more modest than many actresses of today, and encourages
her to take care of herself , get plenty of rest after a project, and study
television and acting as a business and not just a job.
