.::Misuang Manok (Chicken with Noodles)::..

4 Servings
INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons crushed garlic 3 tablespoons
cooking oil
1/4 cup sliced onion 1- 2 lbs. chicken, cut into serving pieces
2 tablespoons patis or 1 tablespoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 cups water 2 packs misua or vermicelli
1/4 cup scallions or green onions
Saute garlic in oil until brown. Add
onion, chicken, patis or salt and pepper. Cover,
bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Add water, bring to
a boil and simmer until
chicken is cooked. Add misua noodles and cook for another 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with
scallions before serving. Serve hot
