.::Binagoongang Baboy (Pork Cooked with Shrimp Paste)::..

4 Servings

INGREDIENTS:

2 tbsp. vegetable or corn oil 2 tbsp. finely minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup coarsely chopped tomatoes
1-1/2 lbs. boneless pork shoulder or 3/4 cup water
butt, cut into 2-inch cubes 1/2 tsp. sugar
4 tbsp. bagoong or shrimp paste

In a large skillet, heat oil. Saute the garlic, onion and tomatoes until garlic is brown, onion
and tomatoes tender. Add the pork and cook until pork is brown. Add water and simmer
for 30 minutes. Add sugar and bagoong or shrimp paste and simmer for 15 minutes until
