.::Pinatisang Manok (Chicken with Patis)::.

4 Servings
INGREDIENTS:
2 cloves garlic, crushed 1/4 cup diced
onion
1 tablespoon diced fresh ginger 1- 2 to 3-pound chicken, cut into
serving pieces
3 cups rice water 2-1/4 cups patis
1/2 cup water fresh vegetable leaves (spinach or watercress)
Saute garlic, onion and ginger. Add
cut-up chicken and season with patis and 1/2 cup
water. Simmer until chicken is almost done. Add rice water and
fresh leaves and
continue to cook until chicken is tender. Serve hot
